Restored Thorens TD320 MKII with Vespa Marone 130 metallic high-gloss finish and matt black base plate

Semi-automatic turntable with belt drive.

Our turntables are lovingly assembled and handcrafted. Each one is unique and differs in model, color, and veneer grain. The high-quality cabinets are restored or rebuilt by skilled craftsmen. Electrical components are checked, moving parts are oiled, and wear parts are replaced. A final endurance test completes this complex work.

Case:
The original cabinet is refurbished and painted. The surface is applied with several coats of colored varnish with appropriate intermediate sanding, sealed with a high-gloss varnish, and then polished. The connectors for all necessary cables are located on the back.

Ortofon OM5E Cartridge:
The Ortofon OM5E is a full-fledged cartridge. It impresses with its temperament and neutral basic character. The OM5E features an elliptical stylus that enables balanced and distortion-free reproduction.

Audio Cable:
Brand-name cable. Pre-assembled analog audio RCA cable for turntable cabling! Thanks to the particularly high-quality oxygen-free copper (OFC) inner conductor, this quality cable ensures true-to-life signal transmission. Reliable contact and corrosion protection are guaranteed by the 24-carat gold-plated plug contacts. The cable offers a neutral sound with good dynamics and spatiality.

Device Feet:
To decouple the turntable from low-frequency vibrations, the chassis is equipped with height-adjustable spikes made of chrome-plated stainless steel. This effectively prevents resonance and feedback.

Drive Belt:
The drive belt is new. It is manufactured according to the original Thorens specifications (same material and dimensions).

Record weight:
Weighing 310g, it ensures that the record rests flat on the platter and spins smoothly. This record weight is in the medium weight class. It adds just enough weight to dampen the record's vibrations without stressing the bearing bushings. The suspension of the Thorens subchassis has been readjusted accordingly. By using it, you will increase the sound performance of your system.

The following work will be performed:
Replacement or installation of required components, overhaul of electronic and mechanical components, setting and adjusting the speeds, setting and adjusting the suspension, checking and adjusting the tonearm and cartridge, thorough cleaning of the entire turntable, final inspection, and endurance testing.
