This turntable features a direct drive with a DC motor and a starting torque of 1.2 kg/cm.
The servo mechanism utilizes Ultra Detector and FG (Frequency Generator) servo circuits with precise speed detection. A quartz PLL servo circuit has also been introduced to improve the rotational accuracy of the turntable.
The turntable is a precision, dynamically balanced, die-cast aluminum platter with a diameter of 31.5 cm. Due to the concentration of mass at the outer periphery, the platter has a high inertial mass.
The power supply is powerful enough to deliver a constant voltage of 24 V. Furthermore, the power supply is triple-shielded, and the transformer is specially designed for vibration damping to improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
The tonearm is gimbal-mounted and features a polished chrome-molybdenum steel pivot point. It is an S-shaped tonearm made of a special aluminum alloy with an initial horizontal and vertical sensitivity of no more than 3 mg. The cartridge housing is also made of a special die-cast aluminum alloy, ensuring sufficient stability and low weight. The tonearm also features a height adjustment mechanism for various cartridges. The internal force compensation is highly precise and features a roller counterweight system. A NEGLEX low-impedance cable with 0.71 Ω resistance is used from the cartridge to the plug. The gold-plated cable prevents contact failure.
The solid housing is constructed of high-density particle board to dampen internal and external vibrations. The arm stand and arm base are made of 1 kg die-cast zinc. The isolator features a dual damping system.
